David Frazer
David is a Global ESG expert who’s helped thousands of investors integrate environmental and social factors into their processes, and he has helped hundreds of corporations improve their ESG ratings.
As a former analyst, David helped develop the ESG methodology used by the world’s largest ESG Ratings agencies, MSCI and Sustainalytics. Throughout his career, he’s helped 115 companies improve their ESG rating by one notch (BB ->BBB), and 65 companies improve their ratings by two notches or more (B ->BBB).

David directed the ESG strategy of a $500M sustainable equity portfolio at Mackenzie Investments, Canada’s largest investment asset management firm. He selected companies based on their ESG practices improving the management of critical areas, such as decarbonization, employee satisfaction and incentives, diversity in management, consumer financial protection, biodiversity, supply chain management, water stress and more.
Leveraging deep global ESG expertise, David is excited to partner with corporations of all sizes through Fruuit Consulting inspiring them to change their ESG practices one step at a time and take on a more sustainable course of business.
He is also an economics educator and a published author, with an MA in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an LLB from the University of London. David’s mission is to fully integrate ESG into the investment landscape and create positive change.
